Strada 36-42 CX-Carbon Edition is the smart transition build between climbing and speed. It keeps a low, precise and very light front wheel while adding more depth at the rear, where inertia is easier to exploit.

The front wheel carries the key qualities of Strada 36: liveliness, stability on descents and control in crosswinds. The rear wheel follows the Strada 42 logic: more efficiency on rolling sections, more stability once the pace settles and a more continuous sense of speed.

Based on the SLR5 process, the road adaptation of our high-performance SLS5 MTB technology, the rim combines Toray T1100 fibres, aerospace-grade resin and a highly precise layup to achieve a benchmark weight / stiffness / reliability ratio.

DRC improves vertical filtering and handling stability, while SpokeCore passages provide a homogeneous, reliable structure built for intensive use.

The Offset geometry improves spoke tension balance and lateral stiffness, especially during sprints, pace changes and out-of-the-saddle accelerations. The 25 mm internal width works ideally with modern 28-30 mm tyres.

This CX-Carbon Edition combines DUKE Elite carbon rims with Sapim CX-Carbon 365 spokes and DUKE MadMax3 T365 hubs. The benefit is not only weight: the build lowers rotating mass, sharpens steering precision and delivers a more immediate response at every acceleration.

The Sapim CX-Carbon 365 uses an ultralight carbon structure and a 3.0 × 1.5 mm aerodynamic teardrop profile. Its very low elongation - around 0.43 mm at 1200 N - limits energy loss under pedalling load and gives the wheelset a particularly direct feel.

The 20-spoke front / 24-spoke rear layout keeps weight extremely low without giving up lateral stiffness. The front wheel keeps a precise road feel, while the rear wheel remains stable under power during sprints and hard accelerations.

DUKE MadMax3 T365 hubs use a dedicated interface for the 3.65 × 5.5 mm T-head format of the CX-Carbon spoke. They complete the build with a high-end mechanical platform that matches the level of this edition.
