405 g of flatland aero speed. Strada Æra 65 is our Elite carbon aero rim for high-speed riding on flat and rolling terrain, long straights and sustained efforts at pace.

Its signature Æra relief, optimised via CFD, cuts drag by up to 10% compared with a smooth rim of the same depth, without degrading crosswind stability. Used as a rear wheel with a Strada Æra 56 front, it adds noticeable cruising speed and useful inertia.

Strada Æra 65 is DUKE’s dedicated flatland wheelset: a model clearly focused on cruising speed, aimed at riders who like to sustain high averages on rolling courses, in triathlons or fast bunch rides.

With its 65 mm depth and Æra signature relief, optimised through CFD, it offers up to 10% less drag than a smooth rim of the same profile, while maintaining controlled behaviour in crosswinds. Every watt is converted into speed, without the wheel feeling nervous or unpredictable when the wind picks up.

Built on the SLR5 process, Strada Æra 65 combines Toray T1100 fibres, aerospace-grade resin and an ultra-precise layup to ensure an excellent stiffness / durability / performance ratio under the high loads specific to deep-section aero use.

DRC (Dynamic Response Comfort) smooths out vibrations and stabilises the wheel’s behaviour, for a more controlled, fluid ride even on imperfect tarmac. Moulded spoke holes (SpokeCore) provide a homogeneous, durable structure – ideal for high-speed use.

With its 24 mm internal width, Strada Æra 65 is optimised for a 28 mm tyre, now the reference for fast road riding and long distances. This combination lets you run lower pressures for extra grip and comfort, while still delivering outstanding rolling efficiency.
