PRESS KIT FOR DT SWISS HUB BSCTOOLS

This tool kit and instructions are for hubs with the star ratchet system.
The tool kit works with other brands of hub as well which have DT Swiss internals.

This tool kit has been designed for mechanics that prefer to press in/out bearings, rather than use a hammer.

This toolkit enables you to:
- press out the hub axle and bearings (6902 bearings x 2)
- press in the hub axle and bearings (6902 bearings x 2)
- press out one of the freehub bearings (6802) - you will need to use a blind bearing puller to remove the first bearing (or a soft faced hammer and a drift, eek!)
- install the hub seal (by pressing the freehub)

Toolkit includes:
- 2 x 6902 over axle drifts
- 1 x 6802 over axle drift
- 1 x 6902 bearing extractor
- 1 x 6802 bearing extractor
- M12 threaded rod stainless steel 250mm long
- Bearing press handles with thrust bearing (makes the job easier but you can use spanners) - the same handles as used in our bottom bracket bearing press - so if you already have them, no need for a second set.

Toolkit does not include:
- DT Swiss Ring Nut Tool - we have two available in the Hub Tools section.
This tool is used to remove the ring nut and then allows the drive side hub bearing to be removed.
