The BARON XR28 is a carbon rim for clincher and tubeless tires, for disc brakes, designed for both leisure and competition XC uses. It features a modern geometry with a low, asymmetrical 2mm profile that opens up the spoke brace angle, increasing lateral stiffness and wheel stability without adding weight. The spoke tensions between the two sides are more balanced, guaranteeing greater wheel durability. Weight: 360g. Hookless sidewalls reinforce the rim and reduce its weight. The finishing is matte UD carbon, a unidirectional carbon with no visible pattern. Only available in 28-hole. The 28mm internal width gives more air volume to the tires, improving comfort and grip without sacrificing performance. Recommended tire widths range from 48mm 1.90" to 66mm 2.60", tubeless or tubetype. Tubeless-compatible rim (UST system, Tubeless Ready). Requires rim tape and tubeless valve.
