You might have noticed that Yokto is not the absolute lightest hub on the market. That’s by design. Our goal is to make lightweight hubs, but never at the expense of durability and safety. After extensive development, we found that 225g for the hubset is the perfect balance between lightweight and durability.
We even introduced technologies that slightly increase the weight, such as the new axle design that eliminates the need for shims when adjusting axial play. This hub exclusively uses premium materials: a special alloy for optimal weight and strength, Enduro Bearings XD15 (with a lifetime warranty), and carbon end caps in the front, with aluminum in the rear for optimal weight and durability.
This hub debuts our new two-pawl system with 40 points of engagement. Designed to be ultra-lightweight, it still features heat-treated steel pawls for superior durability.
