Hub body machined from a block of 2014 T6 aluminium. New hub body profile for increased rigidity without adding weight. Available with 32 and 36 holes. Stainless steel ring bearings. Fully repairable and rebuildable using simple tools. Improved sealing to prevent dirt ingress and reduce drag. New labyrinth seal offers zero resistance for incredible freewheeling performance. New pawl and spring design for increased durability, load capacity and reduced drag. Steel freewheel body with 6 simultaneous pawls providing 54 engagements: HUB556: Shimano HG HUB557: Sram XD New axle design increasing the rigidity and reliability of the freewheel body. Choice of 6 anodised colours. Standard 6T disc mounting. Specific hub body in BOOST 148mm format: Symmetrical umbrella for incomparable lateral rigidity. ONLY COMPATIBLE with DH 7V drivetrains.
