The Fast Bird is the 2nd MTB tubular tyre developed with the team of Thomas Frischknecht. The tread has partly been designed by Florian Vogel, after who the tyre has been named. The Fast bird tread has a low stud in the middle for a low rolling resistance. The studs at the sides are higher for off-camber sections. Because of the different height of the studs and the different rubber compounds, you can ride on nearly every course by changing the tyre pressure.
The Fast Bird has won already different races, among whom the world cup in Champéry 2010 on Fast bird prototypes and Pietermaritzburg 2011 on the final tyres.
